Grands Film S.A. was created on December 24th 1953, at the time Chaplin was in Italy attending the "Limelight" première. On January 8th 1954, the company name changed to Roy Export Company S.A. Waiting for Chaplin's authorisation to file with the court the United Artists distribution agreements.
