Script draft of The Freak, Charles Chaplin's last film project. Chaplin committed himself to the writing of The Freak from September 1967 to the summer of 1969. In the first phase he outlined and developed the story in treatment form until, presumably in late September 1968, he began to tackle the actual screenplay. A decision that seems to coincide with the final adoption of the title The Freak.
