From the "Studio Party" sequence to the end of the film. This version includes an alternative ending. Marie (Edna Purviance) refuses to marry Pierre Revel (Adolphe Menjou) and goes back to her village to help Jean's ill mother (Lydia Knott). The doctor who takes care of the woman asks her to marry and to follow him to the USA. The film ends with Marie in a railway station in Paris buying a ticket to an unknown destination.
