Government lifts the liens against more than $600,000 of the comedian's New York bank funds. This allows Chaplin to continue working on his new picture. The Los Angeles court order, which gave her $4000 a month alimony, has not produced a penny for Lita Grey's revenue because Chaplin was not within the jurisdiction of the court and has never been served with divorce papers. Denied reports of a settlement out of court.
