After Arthur Kelly's death, his office at United Artists was locked and the only persons allowed inside were Josephine Kelly and Rachel Ford. Of the three contracts signed by Arthur Kelly on September 12, 1952, only the one concerning the distribution of "Monsieur Verdoux" could be retrieved.
