Thomas B. Packard is in possession of an unauthorised copy of "The Circus", and he is asked to return it to the Chaplin Studios. Packard claims he bought the print from "Film Classics", a New Jersey company owned by Charles Tarbox. According to Mr. Tarbox a man named Donnachie is selling 16mm prints of the film.
