The clippings are included in the German press release file dated June 1963. Following the request filed by Chaplin and by the Roy Export Company, the Frankfurt Court denied Atlas-Film the right to distribute The Gold Rush throughout the Federal Republic of Germany. The print owned by Atlas was illegally acquired from Beta Film for 50,000 marks. The news was given during a press conference held in Frankfurt on June 11 1963 by United Artists and by Miss Ford.
