A small Island in the Hebrides is inhabited with an uncivilized Polynesian-type of aborigine. They have a protectorate which is exploiting them. The natives decide to send Mana, the daughter of the head chief to America to be educated, so as to enable her to protect their interests. See also "The Southern Cross".
