Excellent review for "Within the Law", the story of Mary Turner, shop-girl, who is sent to prison for three years for a theft she did not commit; who leaves jail with one purpose, to make Edward Gilder, proprietor of "The Emporium" and her persecutor, pay. Outstanding performance by Beryl Barraclough in the role of Mary, Cecil Kellaway and Georgie Corlass.
