A demurrer to the divorce complaint of Lita Grey and a motion to strike out of it the most sensational portions of her allegations against Chaplin was filed in the superior court by the comedian's attorneys. $50,000 damage suit brought against Chaplin for alleged piracy of his war film "Shoulder Arms". The suit was brought by Leo Loeb, disinfectant salesman, who claims the Chaplin film was taken from his scenario "The Rookie".
