Alfred Revees forwarded to lawyer Frohlich a letter addressed to Chaplin by E. Haldeman-Julius, a mutual acquaintance with Konrad Bercovici. In this letter, dated 13th August 1942, Haldeman proposes that an amicable settlement be reached in the case brought by Bercovici against Chaplin.
