1947 was a particularly poor year in American film production. Some exceptions: "The Best Years of Our Lives", "Bachelor Knight", "Master of Bankdam", "Bush Christmas", "The Yearling", "Hue and Cry", "Green For Danger", "Dancing With Crime", "Notorious" e "Monsieur Verdoux". Particularly worth mentioning are some Italian movies such as "Roma città aperta", "Vivere in pace" and "Sciuscià".
