Chaplin Flies in with a Snub for America : He Talks only to the British / by Leslie Mallory - ECCI00011030
Chaplin gave a 20 minute interview to British TV when he flew into London Airport for the premiere of his film "A King in New York", but he refused to let a crew from America's National Broadcasting Company take part. Chaplin declared he is not interested in America, and that America is not interested in him. The film premiere will take place in London's Leicester Square Theatre.
