Chaplin denies all charges of misconduct with motion picture actresses made by Lita Grey in her suit for divorce. Edna Purviance and Merna Kennedy are also mentioned. Lita Grey's attorneys announced their intention of calling Mildred Harris, Chaplin's ex-wife, as one of the principal witnesses in the case. Lita Grey told her attorneys that half her husband's community property, about $10,000,000 - out of which she would ask $5,000,000 - would be right for herself and her two sons.
