Correspondence and legal documentation regarding the case Charles Chaplin/Roy Export Company vs Inge Ivarson/Irisfilm for the unauthorized distribution of The Kid in Sweden. Mr. Ivarson got copies of the film from Anstalt Alsa Film. Nordisk Tonefilm, a distributor of A King in New York City in Sweden, is concerned about possible competition from the release of The Kid in the country. The correspondence includes some letters with the lawyers in charge of other cases of The Kid's illegal distribution, ongoing in France and in Italy. Mentioned were Alice Woog of Le Film Metztger & Woog and Mr. Salkin, who sold the Norwegian rights to the film to Norena Film Oslo.
