Bank Clerk Verdoux Loses 5.000.000-Franc Claim - ECCI00014189
The claim by Paris bank clerk Henri Verdoux for 5,000,000 francs damages against the producers and distributors of the Charlie Chaplin film "Monsieur Verdoux" was dismissed by a Paris court. Henri Verdoux did not want his name to be associated with the character in the Chaplin film.
