Alimony Clash Won by Chaplin - ECCI00011880
Lita Grey was awarded $4000 a month temporary alimony by the court pending outcome of her divorce suit, but has been unable to collect a penny owing to legal technicalities raised by Chaplin and to claims on Chaplin property filed by federal tax authorities. The three applications for writs of prohibition filed by Chaplin's attorneys were denied.
